Moving Life

When I was 4 or even younger I lived at a house on Ransom Road. We went to Jesse Wharton Elementary School. But we moved to Apple Tree Lane. So Mommy and Daddy went down to the school and here is what I remember of the conversation:

Hello we just moved and we were wondering if we were still in the school district?

Were did you move to?

Past the McDonald's

Well yes that is outside the school district

Okay bye

Bye

So long story short as we were walking out Daddy was carrying me out and I was crying.

Why did you cry like that you ask? The answer first off is I was 8. Second off it was my first move.

So I was pretty bummed out. But now I feel happy that God knew we would end up good in the end.

My second move was from Apple Tree Lane and that one was to Woodland Park Apartments one were I was used to it. It was 3012 B and I was 10 so it was easy. We moved to another place.

The third and last move was so funny because we moved to another apartment in the same complex! We moved when we were 11. I love this place! It is the best place ever!

Parents you can show this to your kids who are moving for the first time.

Moving is not as bad as it looks.

Shooting Star

Here is a song that I made for your entertainment! CHORUS means the part with Chorus is repeated.
Shooting Star
Chorus
I am inside your heart
You don't know who I am
And here is the reason why
I am your shooting star

The lord will come upon us
And he will carry up
All of our shooting stars
Into the heavens above
He will read all our hearts
And all our shooting stars

CHORUS

The lord is our father
He created us
Because he is the sun
Of all our shooting stars

CHORUS

Jesus sits beside him
They are like judge and cop
They look at your shooting stars
And place you were you go

CHORUS

REPEAT CHORUS

Everyone will have there shooting star go
They will stop
But there shooting star will live
Agaaaaaaain

Some people might not know
That people have shooting stars
But they have one to
Jesus will ride
Down on his cloud
And carry all our shooting stars
Up to the heavens above

SLOW CHORUS

 The lord loves us
So does Jesus
The lord loves us so much...

CHORUS

We have one yes we do

I hope you loved it!

About Me

Hi! My name is Valerie Rose Southern and my twin is Brooke Janine Southern. Me and my Daddy and Mommy make this blog pop! The picture above shows me and my family at our favorite place. My daddy started my inspiration and my Mommy was there all the way through.

I will post everyday or at least when I can.

I hope you comment and come back often

My Replica Of Me

I have a twin sister. She is almost a replica of me but different. She is 30 seconds younger than me. Why so small of a difference you ask? Well were miracle babies.

When the doctors took me out, I wasn't breathing so they had to put me in the NI-CU and they got Brooke in as fast as they could. Well they said we had a 40% of living. Brooke is sitting next to me as I am writing this so we went for that 40% chance ad we are living with no problems at all except a few surgeries as young kids like 2 or 3.

Let me tell you about mine,

I had a hole in my small intestine so they put a fake on in when I was a baby because I was very small. They fixed me all the way when I was older now I'm all good.

Let me tell you about my replica. She is Brooke and she had a brain surgery. If you think there is anything wrong about her in the below picture tell me because I don't see anything. By the way she is in the back.

We are proud children of God and of a daddy and mommy that love us so much. I love my sister so much.

Now lets see why she is a replica of me. When we were kids she would copy everything I would do. I think if I jumped of a cliff she would to. But she is a perfect sister anyway and I would not change a thing about her.

Love you sissy:-),

Simon Lebeau Southern vs. Sophie Lynn Southern

I love Simon and Sophie but they feel different towards each other. The difference is clarified in the title, They do not like each other in first sight which is ironic because we thought they would at least be friends.

Sophie is a Siamese/ Domestic cat. We got her in November of 2014. She is like a teenager. She walked into the room, stepped on Daddy's feet, and then walked out. She, like Simon hated the other cat in the house. But she is playful a lot around us.

Simon is a Domestic cat and is SO lazy! But that ended the day we walked in with Sophie. Now he is on high alert. He is an old man who owns the place. He is playful and even more lazy around us.

The two things they do together is fight and beg for treats. One tip for you is if you say treats around either of them they will beg and beg and beg.

But they have grown a little more friendly since last year (hint word: a little).

I still have one string of hope of them liking each other in the end.

I love Sophie with all of my heart. One night she got out. I was back out of the bed looking all over the house for a hint of that mix of brown and black fur.

I was balling my eyes out on my mommy's lap while daddy was doing one last search. When he came back after searching he told me when he was inside with Sophie he said she was sitting on the pine needles outside our door meowing her mouth off for some food.

Simon was bought before I can remember by Daddy. Mommy and Simon love each other.

I have known Simon all my life (maybe literally).

Good luck Simon and Sophie,

Valerie

The Biggest Portion Of My Memories

I remember a lot of things but one thing sticks out the most.

Me and my sister Brooke and my dad would always go to a dirt road to the right of our Ransom Road house. We would walk to the end to a little Jesus statue at the end of the road. It was the place were I learned the most. I learned to pray and we would always pray to that statue everyday. We, as 6 year old twin daughters of my dad with our imaginations on fire imagined he was real.

I still wish I could have that statue and pray to it. The day we did not see that Jesus statue will always be a lump in my heart. When I talked to that Jesus statue I thought he was standing there with his arms waiting to hug me, but he was paralyzed because he was waiting until the right time to come down on the cloud.

I had a dream a few years later that we were riding in a car but I was looking out of the window so all I could see was the sky and then I saw it! Jesus was coming down with a face of love and he started to go under the bridge towards the ground and just before his face went under the bridge I woke up. I will never forget that dream as long as I live.

I think that the statue and that dream are connected because I thought as a kid that he would come down like that and he looked like it in the dream.

I love Ransom Road and the memories it holds. Hey I could write a song about that!

I love you Mommy, Daddy and Brooke,

Valerie

My Daddy Is Awesome!

My daddy is the man that inspires me. He inspires me to have dreams that I will always chase. I love art and writing because of him. I am so lucky to be his daughter! It makes me smile when I see him in the morning. I love that he made me a blog.

Now I am able to share with everyone how great and awesome he is!

He always makes sure I understand that life can be hard but you will see God and Jesus in the end. He sometimes gets frustrated at me but I know he loves me.

My daddy is the greatest person I know (well... along with my mom) and i will always love him.

I request you to see his blogs www.rodneysouthern.com and www.savethemcash.com because I love how my great daddy writes!

Love you daddy,

Valerie
