An Eye For A Surgery

Brooke had an eye surgery when we were 9 years old. She is sitting beside me and giving me a play-by-play of it so here goes!

I last saw her before school (mostly because I was going to school and not her) and she told me that she was so hungry and thirsty but she couldn't eat or drink. I had eaten so I thought,"Bummer."
I quickly wrote 'I love you so much!' on the back page of her composition book, She asked what i wrote and I simply said,"Its a surprise.'

So Brooke told me the rest yesterday so I will basically type what I remember of what she said.

On the way there she looked at what I had written and talked to Na-Na and mommy. When she got there Na-Na told her that right beside the place she was going to she also had a surgery. In the waiting room it was boring but Na-Na and mommy drew in her composition book so it was 1% less boring.

After what felt like 5 hours the doctor finally called her name. They gave her the usual check-up first. Then they did her pulse rate and it sky rocketed!!! They asked her if she was nervous and she said yes. They told her to lay down on the bed and she watched the Lion King.

Then they told her to move to another bed. Then they put a sleeping mask on her. then they asked her questions and she started to feel sleepy. Then she fell asleep.

When she woke up she had a clip on her toe and a IV in her arm, Then they had to pull it out and Brooke said it hurt so much. They told her that she will barf and then they gave her a barf bag. Then she barfed (duh) then again (once again duh). Then they put her in a wheelchair and she said it was so awesome.

Then she threw up twice on the way home (duh once again). When she got home I was watching TV.

I wanna ride a wheelchair (LOL) ,

Cook-Out And Krispy Kreme

What do these two things have in common? Well this article has the answer.

One day like last week we got in the car and Daddy asked mommy what she wanted. She said that she wanted a shake. Me and Brooke said,
"OOOOOOOOOOH!"

Then Daddy drove and when we heard the turn signal we looked up and saw the Krispy Kreme sign and we all said,
"YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!"
We got 2 Boston Cream, one Chocolate Cake doughnut, 6 glazed, and one apple doughnut. We left the store and I realized we hadn't gotten a shake yet! The one thing we came out here for and we don't have it yet!!

I was wondering this but my question was answered almost immediately as we pulled into...you guessed...Cook-Out!!!

Mommy said she was choosing which shake we got. Then she came out with three Caramel Fudge shakes! They were soooooooooooooooo good! The Shake lasted 10 minutes and the Doughnuts lasted two days...Two Amazing Days :-).

Best two days ever,

Valerie
